Authorizing 101 is a half-day workshop for those new to the work of authorizing. Participants will build a foundational understanding of authorizing responsibilities, how those responsibilities are interconnected, and how authorizers use evidence and professional judgment to make decisions. The workshop includes scenario-based discussions connected to a single, simulated charter school case study.

Come ready to learn, connect with peers, and build the context you need to engage more deeply with conference sessions and conversations.

To keep costs low, lunch will not be served and we ask that you eat lunch before arriving. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided midway through the workshop.

Cancellations are permitted through September 30. Beginning October 1, cancellations will no longer be accepted.
